Would you like your puppy training to be a fun, engaging and enjoyable experience whilst strengthening your bond with your puppy? I will help you feel relaxed and confident with an exuberant young puppy at your side.
With my extensive knowledge and experience, I will advise, guide and provide you with continuous support. I provide a clear, simple and comprehensive training programme that covers all aspects of your puppy’s development to help your puppy grow into a calm, confident and well behaved companion.
My training plans will emphasise your dogs unique temperament and breed specific activities to create a plan just for your dog and specific circumstances.
Alternatively you can choose an hour or a few hours training for a specific training requirement for your dog or for a general advice.
I offer training for puppies from 8 weeks old upwards, as well as for adult dogs.
I also offer a dog walking service to suit dogs of all ages, abilities and personalities. Make sure you dont miss out on them.
I am excited to meet you!
I believe that a confident and happy adult dog stems from a puppy who has been exposed to a calm and safe environment where their needs have been met and who has been exposed to as many different situations and environments as possible within their comfort limits.
I use only positive and fun training methods at all times. Training will usually take place outside as this is the optimal environment for your dogs training. There may be times that we do some training in your home, or other areas for specific skills and socialisation.
Our dog walking services include various different walks for dogs of all ages and personalities (please refer to the dog walking page).
See my dog training and dog walking plans below to find the one that suits you and your dog the best.
I am based in Watford in Hertfordshire, England and work in the surrounding areas (up 20 minutes away by car). I can travel further, but would need to add travel and mileage cost.
We can also meet in one of our local parks near Watford.
Come and join our puppy classes for fun filled learning and socialising for you and your puppy in a small, relaxed group setting. During these classes, we will show you how to teach your puppy all the basic essential skills, socialise and play with other puppies so that they become confident, well balanced and happy dogs.
We hold these classes outdoors as this is the most natural and optimal environment for your puppy to learn (just don’t forget to bring your wellies and raincoats ☔️ ). Although it is in a public place it is in a quiet area and we have a playpen for small size puppies to play off lead. 😃
Trying to remember everything from an hour long class can be hard, so we feel it is important that you are not left alone between the weekly sessions. Ongoing support (via WhatsApp or email) between classes is included as part of the puppy training programme should you need some further pointers to help you and your puppy reinforce the skills you learned during the previous classes.
At the end of each class, after the puppy play we also have a Question/Answer time with a hot cup of coffee or tea and tired puppies chilling next to us. ☕️ 🐶 💕
Our classes include the following:

We work with you and other family members to develop a personalised training plan tailored to your dog and families unique needs. We will teach you and your dog positive reinforcement techniques.
This is a method that focuses on rewarding desired behaviours to encourage their repetition. This approach is humane, effective, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog.
Positive training is not only about teaching commands but also about building a trusting and respectful relationship with your dog. By focusing on rewarding good behavior, you encourage your dog to repeat those actions and create a positive learning environment.
From a very young age I have been passionate about dogs. Some of my most wonderful experiences have involved dogs. Running, hiking, meeting other dogs on a walk or sitting in a cafe or a restaurant with a calm, well behaved dog is a true joy that enhances life experiences. I have trained all of my own dogs, experiencing the joy and frustrations of watching them grow and develop into delightful companions. I have also helped and advised many of my friends and their puppies as a hobby.
Having worked for over 20 years as a nurse in Accident and Emergency, I am now able to follow my lifelong passion for dogs by becoming a qualified dog training instructor and being able to help others train their dogs.
Dogs are wonderful, loving, intelligent and sensitive animals and with proper training, patience and communication with your dog, they will become delightful well behaved companions for you.
Different breeds have different attributes and it is important that your dog is encouraged to develop in accordance with the specific needs of their breed.
Our dogs develop so rapidly during their first 2 years of life, and at times test our patience. It is important that you put in the time and effort during these 2 years so that you have a calm, well balanced and happy dog that loves being with you. Your patience, consistency and calmness during this time will be rewarded with a wonderful companion dog and years of fun and joy.
I would love to be able to support you and your dog through these early stages of your dogs development and be there to guide you through this time. 💕.
Tayka is my three year old Jackapoo.
She is a lovely, gentle obedient dog trained in pet therapy for children and disabled people.
She loves dogs, people and being stroked. She has a natural, calming manner with other dogs.
Tayka has helped the training of other puppies with social skills and bite inhibition through play. She can also help with anxious or shy puppies to increase their confidence around other dogs.
I can bring Tayka for a training session to help with socialising and demonstrating obedience and behaviour skills if we consider it to be beneficial for your dogs training. She may also accompany me for some of group walks occasionally.
Inka is my young German Shepherd. She is a wonderful, fun loving, gentle young dog that is extremely friendly to all dogs and people.
Inka can help your puppy to become comfortable and familiar with larger breed dogs in a calm and controlled environment; an option available to you should you wish.
I have worked my career as a nurse in A&E in fast moving and quickly changing environment. I have thoroughly enjoyed my work there. I have an enhanced DBS and safeguarding check continuously updated.
I have completed the National Dog Training Academy Dog Training Instructor Certificate programme.
I have also completed a Diploma in Dog Communication, Dog walking and Dog First Aid.
I am fully insured for dog training and dog walking. The safety of your dog is a paramount of importance to me, hence I only walk a very small group of dogs any one time.
Here I am training bilingual 😂 Jackapoo puppy with recall. He has learned that his name Laku is always associated with happy things so always response to his name.
if your dog has a reliable recall and with owners permission , part of the walk can be filled with a nice playtime with furry friends. This can also be achieved by using a long line.
For a free of charge training session and to get to know you and your dog, please don’t hesitate to contact me via WhatsApp, email or Facebook. I look forward to help you with your exciting journey with your puppy.

I aim to answer on the same day, however, sometimes it may take till the following day 🌺
Please contact me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Dogs are kept on lead unless owner is happy for the dog be off the lead and they must have a reliable recall. On a recall training sessions puppies are on a long lead .
This is highly recommended as it is important that the whole family is training the dog in a same way.
Flexi leads are not permitted on training sessions to avoid injury. Please bring a normal lead at least 120cm long or preferably a longer one (2m ) so that your dog has enough space to move. A long lead (10m or more) is recommend for a recall training.
If you book and prepay for a package of training sessions, you will have the right to terminate this agreement and get a prorata refund for any unused sessions. For a single sessions 48 hours notice is required to allow for it to be rebooked otherwise full payment will be due.
No. Please consult a dog behaviourist to help you with this.
Please bring easily chewable very high value treats (for example small cubes of cheese or sausages) as well as low value treats (for example kibble) in a pouch so its easily accessible.
